EnviroSustain is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of GreenBuild Europe for the second year running.

The event, which takes place from the 23 to 26 March, is organised by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and offers a forum for the green building community to unite, change lives, revolutionise business and address pressing issues.

As a company that likes to live our values, we now have a ‘no fly’ policy here at EnviroSustain. The members of the team attending the event will be travelling from Berlin (and London) to Dublin by train and ferry. You can catch up with our journey in our travel video diary or follow us on social media!

The ES team will be involved in a number of sessions and projects throughout the event. Details can be found below.

Education sessions:

Session: LEED v4.1: Driving climate action globally, by designing and operating greener buildings through LEED v4.1

Details: Workshop, Monday 23 March, 9am – 5pm, Hogan Mezz 2

Join experts from USGBC, GBCI and EnviroSustain to understand how LEED v4.1 is increasing achievability and expanding the market for high performing green buildings. We will share the lessons learned from real projects and how we are connecting green buildings to healthy outcomes for people, planet, and profit.

Session: GRESB portfolio management

Join GRESB expert Ingemar Hunold, Partner, EnviroSustain where he will explain the overall process of GRESB and how it can help to bring sustainability to life for fund and asset managers or large portfolio owners.

ES Video Lounge:

The team will be hosting a video lounge where sustainability experts will come together to debate various hot industry topics including:

  • Net Zero: do current certifications do enough to help reach net zero targets?
  • Net Zero: does current policy/legislations do enough to help reach net zero targets?
  • GRESB: Is there enough transparency in data reporting and the scoring process?
  • LEED and WELL vs EU regulations
  • Circular economy: Is the real estate and construction industry ready for a fundamental change of business?
  • Opportunities vs Challenges of digitalisation for building sustainability

Look out for more details and how you can get involved in our ‘sustainability battles’ video series, or drop us an email if one of them catches your eye!

Meeting our partners and peers

We are also grateful to have the opportunity to get together with so many like-minded people and we are looking forward to meeting so many of you at the event. We’ll be catching up with some of our clients and filming with Measurabl to provide some great video content about our new partnership and what this means for accurate data.

We’re really excited to be part of GreenBuild 2020. If you’d like to know more about ES or would like to arrange a meeting while you’re there, please get in touch with the team.
