EnviroSustain and Scaler partner to strengthen continuous ESG data management

EnviroSustain has entered into a partnership with Scaler, the AI-native sustainability data platform for institutional real estate investors, expanding the ways in which we can support clients with continuous ESG data management, performance monitoring and informed decision-making.

Effective ESG management requires more than an annual reporting exercise. Reliable data must be collected, reviewed and interpreted throughout the year, and translated into practical actions at both portfolio and asset level. Technology plays an important part in this process, but software alone is rarely enough. Our role is to provide the ongoing capacity, quality assurance and specialist insight that help clients turn their data into measurable improvement.

ES offers clients several ways to access this support, depending on their existing systems, priorities and preferred way of working:

  • A tailored setup using ES’s established suite of in-house tools, developed and refined through many years of ESG data management and advisory work
  • Scaler as an ES-managed solution, providing automated data collection, GRESB reporting capabilities, CRREM integration, AI-supported analysis and customisable dashboards
  • A bespoke setup incorporating a software platform selected or already used by the client

The partnership with Scaler expands our capabilities without limiting client choice. We see particular value in the platform’s flexibility and ability to be configured around different portfolios, reporting requirements and decision-making needs. Scaler’s platform supports seamless data collection from multiple sources, automated reporting, CAPEX planning and custom pathway tracking, and portfolio- and asset-level analytics.

“ES has a long history of developing and using its own tools to provide continuous ESG data management, monitoring, reporting and improvement planning. Our work has never been limited to preparing an annual submission: we help clients maintain data quality throughout the year, understand what the data is telling them and decide what to do next. Our partnership with Scaler adds a new depth of automated data collection, management and analysis to that work. Its flexibility allows us to configure the technology around each client, while continuing to provide the expert oversight and practical support that technology alone cannot replace.”

Ingemar Hunold, Partner, ES EnviroSustain GmbH

“ES has managed sustainability data continuously for its clients for many years, which makes them a natural partner for Scaler. Our platform automates collection, validation, reporting and pathway tracking, and ES adds the specialist judgement that turns that data into asset-level decisions. Together we can give ES clients dependable data throughout the year and a faster route from insight to action on their assets.”

Luc van de Boom, Co-Founder and CIO, Scaler

By combining robust data infrastructure with continuous expert support, ES helps clients move beyond compliance-led reporting towards better-informed decisions and sustained ESG performance improvement.
