Building & Renovation

An initial sustainability concept lays the foundation for sustainable building operation in new buildings and refurbishments. In addition to questions about the energy and climate concept of a building, conscious material decisions can have a decisive influence on the circularity of a building. To achieve the best possible result, we continuously compare planning and construction decisions with the sustainability concept throughout the entire construction and refurbishment process. This involves the use of key tools such as life cycle assessments of ecology and economy as well as decarbonisation analyses:

We support our clients after the purchase of project developments (new construction and refurbishment) as part of forward deals or project financing:

Life cycle & decarbonisation

Certifications

We assist you with the certification of your new build or refurbishment projects in accordance with standard certification systems (BREEAM, LEED® and DGNB) for all types of buildings:

Support with system selection
Coordination of the entire process with the certification body
Preparation of the specifications together with the client
Coordination of certification requirements within the planning team
Implementation of additional services depending on the certification system
Regular reporting to the client

We also support you with certification in accordance with QNG, WiredScore, SmartScore or WELL.

Purchase & Sale

An asset management cycle begins and ends with the purchase or sale of a building. Opportunities and risks must be recognised and evaluated in a short space of time and often on the basis of limited information. We combine our decades of experience in transaction processes with our passion for sustainable transformation. In addition to traditional TEDD, we provide targeted support on the topic of ESG and carry out pre-checks for certifications:

Technical and Environmental Due Diligence

In classic TEDD, we assist with the identification of technical risks when buying and selling:

Condition assessment of the building fabric, technical installations, fire protection, etc.
Review of maintenance and servicing activities
Review of the authorisation status
Assessment of building pollutants and environmental risks at the site
Determination of CAPEX measures and costs
