ESG Report 2024: Purpose, Progress & What Comes Next

At EnviroSustain, sustainability isn’t just something we deliver for our clients, it’s embedded in everything we do. That’s why we’re excited to share our 2024 ESG Report, now available to read and download on our website.

Over the past year, our work continued to grow in both scale and impact. We welcomed new clients and team members, introduced smarter workflows and training, and deepened our partnerships, especially through our long-term collaboration with Rewilding Europe. In a world where climate challenges continue to intensify, we believe it’s crucial to also highlight where progress is happening and where we can lead by example.

What’s inside the 2024 report?

This year’s report showcases our achievements across Environment, Social and Governance, including:

Environment:

  • Tree planting: 1,440+ new trees added via Ecologi, plus local plantings through the Berlin City Trees campaign.
  • Sustainable travel: Over 2,500 km travelled by train and ferry (instead of flying) to the GBCI Europe Circle in Athens.
  • Rewilding action: Our team visited the Oder Delta with Rewilding Europe and TU Berlin to co-develop a future biodiversity hub.
  • 100% green energy in our Berlin office and increased office waste monitoring.

Social:

  • Staff survey rollout with a professional platform resulting in 87% participation and strong feedback on work-life balance and team culture.
  • Slow travel to Athens: Not just for sustainability, but for deeper team connection.
  • Staff training: Skills development across CSRD, energy, biodiversity, and more.

Governance:

  • Certifications drove nearly 50% of sales, especially BREEAM DE, LEED®, and GRESB.
  • Digital upgrades: From smarter presentations with UpSlide to transparent time tracking with Timr.
  • Guidelines: Updates in the areas of data protection, mobile working, health and company pension schemes.

And, of course, we have kept up the momentum with our #TackletheCrisis campaign on LinkedIn, where we share positive examples in the areas of climate protection, biodiversity and the circular economy that are intended to inspire collective action.

Looking ahead: ESG goals for 2025

We’re not stopping here. Our 2025 goals are rooted in action:

Environment:

  • A stronger focus on circular materials, energy efficiency and biodiversity.
  • Continued collaboration with Rewilding Oder Delta and TU Berlin.
  • More positive environmental storytelling via our #TackletheCrisis campaign.

Social:

  • Deepening our employee feedback and well-being initiatives through the Leapsome platform.
  • Promoting mental health and helping people cope with stress.

Governance:

  • A smarter, more connected project management system combining HR and finance.
  • Continued development of custom tools that improve how we work and deliver.

As always, we hope this report doesn’t just reflect what we’ve done but inspires what’s possible.
